Folk

AHH THOSE FOLK! ... PIRATES?

I love folk music, my friend  Chris Millington is what you may call a folk pirate. His music is amazing and so is his style, check out a photo i too i took-

LISTEN TO HIM!

Metal Heads

OOh gosh, Yes ! I have been a metal head haha! oooh all that head banging and bashing about is like a really original workout haha!..Alot of metal heads i recall looking really ugly with sweat dripping all over them 24/7 , i can assure you i didn't allow myself to sweat, i was more hardcore than any of them!

This is Byron from God Forbid and me.

This is Paolo from Trivium and me.

I think Metal Heads can be so serious sometimes that it's funny

GOTH

well once upon a time i was a little goth.

I went by the name of Gothnad, and i was really cool! haha.

Yes i am the one at the front with my 2 friends Jodi and Sophie beside me.

ooh yes i had real looking hair back then!

Me being a typical goth!

Goths have been around forever, they even existed in the Victorian times!
OOh the dark music, vampires, magicalness, and day dreaming, make the world of Goths seem like some sort of folklore fantasy.

MODS

Ohh Mods, i find them boring. So uninteresting and bland riding there scooters around like an accessory... Yet sometimes some of them do pull it off quite well, but i think it can be a hard look to pull off, i mean if you don't have the face and the body of a model and no sense of your own style, then you could just end up looking a bit crap.!

so you could end up looking really cool...

or errrm bland and boring! eurrghh!

Da sinistra: Steve Marriott, Roger Daltrey, Rod Stewart & Ronnie Lane (1965)

Check out Pete Doherty rocking a bit of a Mod look-

Mods apparently were around in the late 1950's to early 60's . But I'd still say there is a Mod scene around, it may take a bit more digging up than Punk, but it is still popular with many people and there is still something there. Also elements of the clothing have been taken and styled in different ways through fashion. I mean lots of people love to wear braces and they are a very popular item to embellish yourself with.

PUNK

Well I really love the punk scene, I love the music, the attitude, the outfits. It is a way of life. I would say it is  a bit more than a sub-culture.

Many people will refer to Punks and make them seem like they only existed during 1977 to the early 80's. This is obviously not true, there are still Punks now and many more to come!

Here is a photo of me a few yrs ago!

and another one of me  modelling an outfit my friend Katy made.

There is also a punk festival which has changed it's name many times, but at the moment it is called ;Rebellion', before this it was called 'Wasted'.

I went to Rebellion back in the summer of 2008, held at The Blackpool Winter Gardens
. Here are some images i took:
Choking Susan

The Duel, ( they played at my 18th birthday party)

Some amazing looking guy, someone once told me the name of, but it has slipped my mind!

Vice Squad.

...
This is a photo someone took of my friend James and I. Doesn't he look just like Sid Vicious? haha

Also a photo i just found of me in the audience at rebellion
enjoying the band Mere Dead Men (MDM)

I thought i would leave you with this photo i took of myself Years ago. haha! well it really deserves to be here.
